The Nerissa gemstone necklace is handcrafted in our Istanbul workshop from sustainable 21ct gold-plated recycled brass and is hand set with Lapis Lazuli and Moonstone semi-precious gemstones, creating a beautiful light and dark statement.

About the Brand: Ottoman Hands, was inspired by the artisans that create our unique jewellery. To this day, they work with the same workshop in the heart of Istanbul, that produces the majority of their hand-crafted jewellery. We will only ever work with manufacturers who share our values and treat their workers fairly.

We have been using recycled metals since the very beginning of our brand, always producing small batches of jewellery to avoid over-production.
We use either 21ct gold-plated recycled brass or 18ct gold-plated recycled sterling silver, without compromising on the beauty and quality of our pieces.
