Incorporating the beautiful handmade ceramic aqua beads paired with chestnut glass beads and 24ct gold luster ceramic beads. Making these hoop earrings an elegant statement piece.

Measurements + Materials:

  • Measuring at roughly 2.5cm in diameter.

  • Detailing three small soft blue ceramic beads with two gold luster ceramic beads placed in-between.

  • Luster is made of particles of REAL gold suspended in a liquid medium. After being applied to your piece, it's fired in order to burn off the organic binder. What remains is a layer of REAL, melted gold on your piece.

  • The hoops are made of 14ct gold filled wire.

  • Gold-filled jewellery has 100 times more gold alloy than gold-plated jewellery, meaning the layer of gold is so much thicker and tarnish resistant and won’t turn your earlobes green!

Every Ochre piece is made by ceramist and designer, Lauren, in her studio situated near Mullumbimby.

'I believe we hold onto our most treasured possessions for life, they become the totems for our memories and milestones. A precious pair of gold hoops, gifted to us for our 30th birthday. A beautiful handmade ceramic vase passed down from our grandmother... 

It is so important to me that Ochre’s pieces nurture those same sentimental feelings. I believe those stories start with how each piece is created,' reflects Lauren.
