This elegant shape is beautiful to nestle in your hands and savour your morning latte.

Each piece is created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out. The inside of the cup is glazed with a non-toxic, food-safe white gloss glaze.The outside of the cup is left unglazed and has a beautiful tactile feel.

Care

All Kim Wallace ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. All ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All pieces - with the exception of gold lustre decorations - are dishwasher & oven safe.  Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.
Gold lustre finishes are fired in the kiln for durability & food safety, however please note they are not dishwasher or ovenproof. DO NOT microwave lustre pieces as we use true gold!
