ABOUT THE ARTISAN

Kelly Bignell is a self taught artist practicing from her home studio in Currumbin. Creating pieces that seamlessly blend beauty and function. Every pot is made entirely by hand using a wheel thrown method, then fired in a reduction atmosphere allowing this process to decide the finish of each pot. 

'I like to make those small everyday acts feel purposeful, I think ceramics have the ability to do that. Each piece I create is an expression of contemporary design - adding beauty and warmth to any living space.'
