The collection reflects on the quiet beauty of age and use. Each piece features a single hand-painted floral, drawn from vintage herbariums, suggesting something familiar and timeworn - holding the gentle trace of time.
'I create ceramics and art informed by history and memory, seeking to evoke quiet, familiar emotions. My family and children are a constant source of inspiration. Much of my practice takes place in the evenings, when I can focus and explore ideas,' reflects the ceramist Nicole.
Many hours go into the crafting of each piece to ensure a collectible item. Each plate is handbuilt, florals hand drawn and hand-painted and you will see that no two are the same - each has its own character and variation.
