"I often find myself dwelling in the space between the cultivated and the wild.
The threshold between the comfortable, known, human world, & the great vast unknown of natural wilderness.
I am drawn to the natural- the wildflowers, to the mountains, the darkest forests, the ocean.
I always bring a little of it inside with me - a fallen branch of eucalypt blossom, found shells, or a painting of the sea make my internal space feel like home," writes the artist, Georgie, on her practice.

"These paintings depict the dichotomy - this edge between what is known
and mapped and tended to, and what is wild and untethered.
Whispers of human intervention within natural landscapes, and wildflowers collected
and lovingly arranged in our internal worlds."
