Meet Teddy, a playful storybook friend who lives for hide and seek, brought to life from our original hand-painted artwork.
Designed by hand and lovingly made by hand, Teddy is crafted with care, featuring a hand-stitched face and thoughtful details that make every piece truly unique (no two are ever exactly the same). With his chocolate-brown fur and cheeky little grin, he’s the kind of companion that feels instantly familiar, like a favourite from childhood.

Soft, cuddly, and full of character, Teddy is made to be held close, taken on little adventures, and treasured for years to come. Each soft toy arrives tucked inside a matching canvas bag, along with a story card that introduces Teddy’s world and invites little imaginations to play along.

Materials: made with a soft polyester outer and inner filling, chosen for its gentle feel, durability, and ability to hold its shape through years of cuddles and play. Each toy is carefully finished by hand, so every friend has their own little personality.

Fledge & Thread began in the quiet moments of early motherhood - when the house was still, and our little girl, just four months old, drifted off to sleep. It was during those nights, that I picked up my paintbrush, searching for the perfect soft furnishings to bring warmth and nostalgia to our children’s rooms as we renovated their spaces.
What started as hand-painted designs for their walls soon grew into something more. We launched Fledge & Thread with homewares, but the pull of childhood - the kind we were brought up on - led us to expand into children’s apparel and bedding.
