Winston the Bunny Soft Toy

Meet Winston the Bunny, a gentle outdoor-loving friend brought to life from our original hand-painted artwork.

Winston lives at home with his mother and sisters, but his mind is often somewhere else, drifting toward the world beyond his little home. He’s the sort of bunny who can’t walk past a puddle without stepping right in, who pauses mid-hop to watch the breeze move through the trees, and who collects little moments outdoors like treasures.

Soft, cuddly, and full of character, Winston is made to be held close, taken on little adventures, and treasured for years to come. Each soft toy comes tucked inside a matching canvas bag, along with a story card that introduces Winston’s world and invites little imaginations to wander.

Materials: made with a soft polyester outer and inner filling, chosen for its gentle feel, durability, and ability to hold its shape through years of cuddles and play. Each toy is carefully finished by hand, so every friend has their own little personality.

Fledge & Thread began in the quiet moments of early motherhood - when the house was still, and our little girl, just four months old, drifted off to sleep. It was during those nights, that I picked up my paintbrush, searching for the perfect soft furnishings to bring warmth and nostalgia to our children’s rooms as we renovated their spaces.
What started as hand-painted designs for their walls soon grew into something more. We launched Fledge & Thread with homewares, but the pull of childhood - the kind we were brought up on - led us to expand into children’s apparel and bedding.
